The order in which you must place your four Runes is in this orderĭon’t freak out if you see the rune go in a different placement in the socket order when going from 1- 4.

But all characters can use this staff it just makes getting around the map a little easier. Generally they go up to 33 charges I believe and they can be recharged each time you fix it. Go slow you dint want to be over whelmed.īuy a staff with “Teleport” Charges. It was nothing for my Frozen Orb Sorceress at the time. I my self had to redo the Mausoleum 6 times before coming across mine so be patient. Again you are looking for a white label saying “Monarch”. Make sure you kick over all boxes and weapon racks.

Just go to the Mausoleum and keep on redoing it after completing it. I was lvl 75 at the time and Respec my character which you also want to hang onto if you can for later game content and or you just need to create another character build in order to continue as in Hell, Monsters and enemy types gain immunity to your attacks.īest place I’ve found to gain your Monarch shield in Hell is act 1, the mausoleum where you fight Blood Raven. This is where “Respec” comes in handy if you need some extra points.įor me, I wasn’t able to use my Spirit shield until strength lvl 156. Amn will most likely be the hardest of the four needed runes to create “Spirit”. Where as you create it with 3 “Thul” runes in your cube. Maybe someone can help with that.Īlso, The “Amn” rune as far as I know can only be obtained in hell. Now I’m unclear if you can use your Imbue rewards from act 5/Q1 from “Normal” and “Nightmare” to give you that four desired socket imprint or not, or if you can only gain four sockets in hell. Your reward will be the ability to socket one and only item. You can only socket the shield in act five after completing the first quest. Any Monarch shield in hell will give you a return of four sockets which is needed. It will generally say “Monarch” when the item hits the ground

Even in the early 2000’s I was very late to the scene and still didn’t get it.
